Thank you for your interest in our homepage and our company.
Logaer Maschinenbau GmbH, Mühlenweg 2d, 26789 Leer, is the responsible party for the website www.logaer.de in terms of data protection law.
The protection of your personal data during the collection, processing and use on the occasion of your visit to our homepage is an important concern for us. Here you can find up-to-date information on how we handle personal data at any time. If you have any questions, please contact our data protection officer by e-mail: datenschutz@logaer.de
Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable person, e.g. name, age, address, etc. This term does not include anonymised information, such as anonymised statistics on user behaviour.
If you use the contact form or application form or send us an e-mail, we collect and store the data you provide there in order to process your enquiry and to be able to contact you. We also collect data for the technical support of the website.
The data involved in each case and the legal basis on which we are entitled to collect this data is explained in detail in the following point.
If you use our website purely for information purposes – i.e. you do not send us information via the contact form, application form or otherwise – we only collect personal data that your browser transmits to our server. This is technically necessary for us to be able to display our website correctly and to ensure stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO). The data collection includes the following data:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- page accessed
- protocol
- access status/ http status code
- referer (website from which the user came to our website)
- user agent
- domain called up
When using the contact form, we collect and store the following mandatory information (*) and additional voluntary information from you:
- first name and surname*
- e-mail address*
- salutation
- company name
- postcode, city
- telephone number
When using the application form, we collect and store the following mandatory information (*) and additional voluntary information:
- surname*
- e-mail address*
- postcode, city
- telephone number*.
- curriculum vitae*
- cover letter*
- other attachments (such as certificates or similar documents relevant to your application that you provide to us)*
If you send us an enquiry about a product/service or send us your application documents, these are legally pre-contractual measures at the request of a data subject. In this case, we are entitled to process your personal data for the purpose of establishing a legally binding contractual relationship (see § 28, para. 1, sentence 1 BDSG a. F. or Art 6. para. 1, sentence 1, lit. b DS-GVO).
We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us and by external service providers working for us.
For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content (such as your enquiries sent to us via the contact forms), the website uses so-called SSL encryption. You can recognise this encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar in your browser changes from http:// to http://https://. Likewise, a lock icon will appear in your browser bar. When data is transmitted with SSL encryption activated, the transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.
If you have transmitted personal data to us via the contact form, we will delete it immediately as soon as it is determined that there is no longer any interest in concluding a contract or block it if and as long as we have a legal obligation to retain it and/or we have to retain certain data for accounting or billing reasons. Application documents that are not required are usually deleted after 6 months.
If you contact us by e-mail, this message will be saved by us. In the case of business-related data, we are subject to the respective statutory retention obligations.
Like many other website operators, we also use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are generated when websites are accessed and stored on the respective user's computer. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. We use cookies for web analysis (see point 7).
You can set your browser to generally reject cookies or to inform you as soon as a cookie has been set. It is also possible to automatically delete cookies when closing the browser. If you generally disable cookies, the website may not be displayed correctly or you may not be able to use certain functions on the website. You can usually find out how to make settings for cookies via the help function in the menu bar of your browser.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online service by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data.
We use the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This can be used to create reports that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. The function can be deactivated at any time in the ad settings in your Google account. You can also generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics:
